One of the very first math skills kids acquire is how to count. This is the backbone of more advanced math like addition, subtraction, etc. Introducing counting games can solidify the learning process even further. Our School Readiness groups loved playing this simple cloud game with their fellow peers. Roll the dice, identify the number and add some rain drops to your cloud! Count one to one correspondence, recognising dot patterns and identifying these patterns as valued amounts, has never looked so fun!
